The western side was chosen by the Trenor
family for the construction of a
romantic garden in the style of those created by Nicolas Forestier at the beginning of the 20th
The garden can be accessed from the plaza by passing the irrigation pond, which is also located on this side. It plays host to a variety of non-native trees and plants, set among which is the pond that receives water from a waterfall connected to the aqueduct, which in turn serves as one of the garden's walls.
Both the gardens and the other zones adjacent to the monastery are areas of outstanding natural beauty.
