The top of Monduver mountain rises in the background of the monastery, with 841 meters of altitude, together with the Falconera mountain range, which also borders the beautiful area of Marchuquera and the Vernissa river, which is a tributary of Serpis river, whose course borders the monastery.
The Ador mountain range is located at the opposite side, at the end of the valley of Vernissa river.
The setting of the monastery and all the adjacent areas create environmental spaces of great ecological and landscape interest.
