Visit to perform in family

The Monastery of Sant Jeroni de Cotalba wants families to have their own space for entertainment, which is why it offers them a series of activities specially intended for families, encouraging parents and children to have fun and learn together.

Families have a guide to make the visit, with a series of activities to carry out throughout it, thus capturing the constant attention of children of ages between 4 and 16 years old, so that they find the tour enjoyable and fun, while learning the most representative elements of the monument.

Thus, if you visit the Monastery with your family, you have a lot of advantages:
Reduced fee (€5) for the tickets of all large family members.

  • Free ticket for children under 7 years old.
  • Possibility of arranging guided visits intended for family or child audience.
  • Reduced fee in the “Música en Sant Jeroni” concerts for large families.

Games and activities

The Monastery of Sant Jeroni de Cotalba offers different types of activities, depending on the child’s age, so that they can enjoy their visit to the monument with their parents.

  • Coloring sheets of nobles, monks and peasants (children ages 3 to 6 years old).
  • Educational tour where they have to guide their parents following photographs of the different rooms of the monastery and search for the different significant and interesting elements together in the guided tour (children ages 5 to 10 years old).
  • Questionnaire with questions regarding highlighted and interesting elements of the monastery (children ages 8 to 16 years old).
  • Free download of “Land of the Borgias” children’s app (children ages 6 to 18 years old).

Night life visit

Monastery of Sant Jeroni de Cotalba

Night life guided tours every Wednesday during July and August at 08:00 p.m. Duration: 1 hour and 30 minutes approx.

Night life visits

At the night guided tours, the visitor may observe all the historical rooms of the monastery from a unique and unusual perspective, as it is the case of the beautiful night view of the cloisters, romantic gardens, orange tree patio, refectory, etc.

The schedule of the night guided visits is indicated in the calendar of the ticket sales portal of the Monastery and these visits are timely announced in the News section, on the main menu of the web portal. Please refer to the schedule for more information.
